The IGNIPAS fire-rated chipboard panel is a single-layer board made of virgin poplar wood particles of different grain sizes, derived from the chipping of trunk parts, branches and poplar trimmings, and from the recovery of waste material from the plywood production line with the addition of synthetic urea formaldehyde (UF) adhesive, fire retardant treatment with specific salts and subsequent pressing.
The IGNIPAS poplar chipboard panel, through specific technical processes and exclusive know-how, acquires fire retardant characteristics. It is classified according to UNI EN 13501-1 standard and therefore complies with Euroclass fire reaction B–s2, d0. Each panel undergoes 6 quality controls, one for each production phase.
