Poplar plywood

Lightness 

The use of selected clones, whose origin has been monitored, allows to achieve a plywood with very low specific weight (typically lower than 430 kg/m3)

Clear colour,

Good and “homely” poplar wood scent;

Does good to the environment 

Since the Invernizzi plywood is composed exclusively by poplar scale boards, it keeps on playing its carbon store function (CARBON SINK), typical of this wood essence, even when it has become a finished product;

Homogeneity of external and internal sides

The use of straight and regular trunks without flaws and with hardly marked grain, allows to achieve wide scale boards with homogenous density and look.  

High mechanical performances

Thanks to the overlapping of scale boards, whose grains have been glued running perpendicularly, Invernizzi plywood ensures high performances, especially a good tight during the drawing of nails of screws.

Reduced rejects

Its production is highly sustainable because its originates few rejects (only sawdust and dust only in the final steps), besides poplar is a cultivated wood that renews itself on ten-year-cycles and doesn’t come from natural forests.

Reduced use of chemical additives
